Pat Mayrhofer of Nature's Stones is teaching hot stone technique in Greenfield has been CANCELLED
Pat Mayrhofer and Nature's stones has
cancelled the full body hot stone workshop that was scheduled for this weekend, 10/28-10/30 in Greenfield, MA, due to low enrollment. We highly value what Pat and Nature's Stones has to offer and are going to re-schedule this workshop for the end of March 2012. We'll keep you posted as to our plans and we know it will be an amazing learning experience for all who are able to attend.
Warmly ~

Seeds of time
"I saw old Autumn in the misty morn
Stand, shadowless like Silence, listening
To Silence."
- Thomas Hood
This morning a mighty mite of a chickadee woke me from my stupor with that constant call of "chick-ah-dee-dee-dee, chick-ah-dee-dee-dee" and a show as it navigated the leaning sunflower heads. The border of sunflowers didn't fare too well with all the rain we've had and as such slumped early and grew their predicted 10 feet "tall" sideways in fits and starts all summer moving sunward despite themselves. But their mammoth heads are filled with luscious seeds that must have hit that magical ripe point because the Chickadee kept pulling seeds out of the torqued face only to have many fall into the overgrown (unweeded!) garden below. Two tries and she switched gears. Pecking diligently on the back of the head, now a bent plateau she could perch on. She worked for 20 minutes til the first seed was pulled through safely to her gullet. Her focus was mesmerizing and inspiring.
No hesitation. No worry about "wasting time" here. No seeds sacrificed to the greedy chipmunks below. Puffed up with sweetness against the winds we both know are coming.
Last night I spent an extra 10 minutes working some detox points on a client's feet who after a 90 minute treatment still really needed me to do that work. I could almost hear the "chick-ah-dee-dee-dee". And I felt so happy for her.
In wellness ~
