Worthy of hard work

"There is no short-cut to anyplace worth going!"

I spent last weekend at the Massachusetts American Massage Therapy Association's 50th Chapter Anniversary Celebration. Folks in New England are hard-working, focused and driven to get massage therapy out to the medical establishment. We raised over $12,000 for the Massage Therapy Foundation to be used for research on the quantifiable effects of massage on everything from preemies to cancer patients and beyond. 50 years in the making and we're just gettin' started!

Way to go Irene!

I saw this article about Irene Gauthier, one of the pioneers of massage as we know it today. I had the great fortune to meet Irene 18 years ago when I was just starting Pure Pro and she's been an inspiration to me as a therapist ever since!
