Wintergreen has long been favored by Eastern Medicine for its muscle soothing properties. It is also an excellent respiratory stimulant that will decongest even the most clogged sinuses when diffused in the air. Wintergreen is extremely powerful and aggressive to the skin and must be diluted liberally for topical application. Wintergreen combines well with Sweet Birch, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, and Cedarwood.

IMPORTANT: Wintergreen should be used by trained experts only. For your safety we strongly recommend that Wintergreen be used solely for diffusion into the air. Wintergreen is toxic and can be poisonous - never ingest or use internally in any way. If applied topically, dilute into a carrier oil or lotion and use very sparingly and cautiously due to its methyl salicylate content (the same ingredient found in aspirin). Do not use Wintergreen if you are allergic to aspirin. If you are taking medications containing methyl salicylate, including aspirin, consult your doctor before using Wintergreen to prevent overdose. Those taking blood thinning medications, those with high blood pressure, pregnant women, and children should not use Wintergreen. Keep away from pets and store out of children's reach.
